-Forget the Mountains-

Forget the mountains,
forget the flame.
But how do you place stars
and firedust in their place?

And I can’t help but wonder
about so many things.

I don’t suppose raindrops
can wash clean all my thoughts,
but I know they can kiss away tears.

I don’t suppose the mountain
will move for me,
and I don’t suppose movies
can ever replace the sight
of a real flame.

Forget the mountains,
forget the flame,
because the feel of raindrops
will always be the same.
