I don't want endearing fame,
I want endearing love.
I don't want money forever,
I want sincerity forever.
I wish I could sleep forever sometimes.
I wish I could play in my garden of sunflowers.
I wish the bluebird I love could talk back
because I know he'd assure me the past will stay in the past
and he'd assure me that I would never be forgotten.
I want to see someone's smile the first thing in the morning
....every morning.
I want to forget pain.
I want a friend I can lay down my life for.
I want it to be that each time
I think I've found all my wants within grasp
for them to not be ripped brutally away.
Yet, I want Spirit to be with me always
the way Spirit has stood by my side
throughout all my tribulations.
Sometimes it seems all I want...
is to want a little less...
