-Mad Girl's Heartache-

You've driven me mad,
made me insane.
Even in plain words,
I cannot proclaim.
The missing I feel
from the void you left,
And how I am numb;
to the world I'm deaf.
Together we were beauty,
the most dangerous kind,
The kind that's flighty and
hardest to find,
Because it never lasts past
the length of a dream,
So insubstantial it rips 'cross
its delicate seams.
There was a time I thought
you would die for me,
Yet death will drag me down
before I can kill your memory.
