- Storm -

I feel the hatefulness of Storms
blow against me
and rape me with rage against you.

I feel the Storm entrap me.
I feel so sorry for you.
Why did you choose this
angry flame?

Of all curious eyes,
why did you choose to
slip beneath me, to gaze into mine,
while I rained on you
and raged my lightening against you?

You were foolish to choose
this Storm.
I can’t lift you from your temple earth
above me
where the sun still shines.
And after I’ve unknowingly
destroyed you,
all I can do is Rain
and Cry for you.

Even in my rage
and strength
and cries of anguish,
you can still see how I
crash and burn
around a single Flower.
Yet, I cannot touch it.
I’m powerless
against
fragility.
So, maybe, your
gentle ways might
bring me back
to silent nights and quiet days.

Maybe, yet I’ll still cut and burn and crash until then
(and hopfully, haven’t destroyed you).
