- Visionary -

Visionary, Passion is thy name.
Your fine kiss can melt the frost atop
the snowy apples.
Fire be your glory,
your sacred pure domain.
Your intellect has been lit,
and we see it stir and burn when you cry.

Visionary, thou art a dream
whose lightning flashes quicker than a blink
in the sands of time.
Nothing's ever the same
after you sweep asunder our pretentions.
You grab us fiercely by our hair
and force us before the mirror.
You scream, "Why are you here? What have you done?"
and with that you sweep us into
deep torrents of pain
twisted with revelating joy.

Visionary, thy name is mystery.
Can you not let me in, into your world
and show me that ray of light
you so selfishly harbor and hide?
You cannot blame me for not being like you.
You know well, I yearn your strength.

Visionary, thou art father, thou art man, thou art
soldier, with sword in hand.

Visionary, thou art woman,
the nourishing mother
who supplements our dreary lives
with the invisible flowers of thought

Visionary, you have gone
and left me with nothing but empty inspiration.
I didn't see you fade...
you didn't say goodbye

Visionary, thou art cruel
to leave me with no fame,
no fortune,
with nothing
without the ability to transcend
without your power.

Visionary, I remind you
we are not beneath you,
it is just you are above us.
You’re the kite I lost to the wind.

Yet, worry not, for I am sister to
the wild,
and on still and silent nights,
the wild still call to me....
("Come, little sister, come with us and let’s fly!!")
One day, I might ride the same wind as you,
and I may even be able to quench your fiery
thirst with my ocean abound.

There may be a chance yet that I might tame thee.

Visionary, glory enflamed, hope is thy face.
Give up not faith in me.
Passion is my name, as well.
